We bring a slice of the animal kingdom direct to your child, incorporating animal encounters adapted to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). ADO is already well known for our large range of animal colleagues and many of these will be available to visit the Preschool.
We have over 40 species of animals ranging from invertebrates (mini-beasts), reptiles and small and large mammals. These 'Creature Teachers' will work with our staff to give the Mini-Explorer children interactive, engaging and fun new learning opportunities all adapted right in line with the EYFS.
Our venue at the Explorers Garden also incorporates many additional features encouraging the local wildlife to be found and to be studied at close hand.
♦ We have a number of bird feeding stations placed around the garden.
♦ Mini-beast hotel and houses to encourage invertebrates are also found in various positions within the garden.
♦ We have butterfly and ladybird feeder stations placed near our wildflower meadow area.
♦ Our garden has been planted with many species of flowers and shrubs that encourage willdife to flourish and visit.
♦ The children will be able to go on bug hunts within the garden and check under the logs, in the trees, on planets and around the bug hotel!
